In Module 4, we introduced the electric nail file (or E-drill) and discussed the various applications from a theoretical perspective. In this lesson, we will cover the practical aspects of its use.
Prior to this lesson, you have been instructed to use your hand nail files for any shaping of the natural nails or enhancements. This is because it was important that you build both your skills and confidence prior to using an E-drill on real nails. As covered in the introductory lesson in Module 4, an E-drill is a powerful tool with high speeds that can cause significant damage/injury if not used correctly. That is why we do not introduce the E-drill until this point in your course, as we require you to build up both your skills and confidence prior to use.
