Whether your client is heading out for a night on the town or a to a glamorous school formal, you need to be able to master evening looks that last. Other than precise application, the thing that will keep your clients coming back, time and time again, is makeup that’s lasts all night with minimal touchups.

Below are some examples of a few different full glam looks:

Bronzed Goddess

If you’re applying occasion makeup, you can be sure that a large portion of your clients are going to ask for the same thing – a bronze smokey eye, bronzed cheeks and nude lips!

Tips to creating this look:

  • A long-lasting full coverage base
  • Smokey brown eye shadow
  • Full fluffy lashes
  • Strong Contour and highlight
  • Bronzed cheeks
  • Glossy or Matte nude lips

Expert tip: try adding a peach-toned blush to your bronzed glam to add a little colour to this monochrome look.

Taking inspiration from a 1950’s pin-up girl, this look is still very popular for occasion makeup.

  • Flawless base with a little more coverage for longevity
  • Subtle eye makeup using matte colours, often with a wing
  • Soft individual lashes
  • Tidy natural brows
  • Subtle powder contour, minimal highlight
  • Matte powdered blush
  • Matte or gloss nude lip

Expert tip: be sure to add a bright highlight to the inner corner of the eye to brighten up and modernise your pin-up look.

Metallic eyes

Gold, rose gold and silver looks have been popular for the last few years with no signs of going away! Whether you use subtle pops of metallic shadows or go glam with a full cut crease glitter look, metallic eyes are perfect for eyes that pop at evening events.
