As you refine and practice your skills, you will have your own preferences for how best to perform each coloring method and the sorts of tools and equipment that make it quick and easy for you. When starting out, it can sometimes be useful to write out the steps you need to follow. Some of us learn by watching, others learn by doing, some of us need to write things down or perhaps you need to do a combination of all of those things! Because there are quite a few steps to complete, do what you need to do to ensure you don’t skip any. You don’t want to be halfway through a lash lift and then realise you forgot to set your timer!

Practical: Practice lash lifts on models Congratulations, you can now begin practicing on models! When you are selecting your models, try models with sparse eyelashes and models with different growth directions so that you can practice on a range of situations that you will have to deal with as a lash artist.
