So far in this module, we have covered a huge range of products, equipment and tools that are available for you to use. The kit you have been supplied with has all of the essentials that you will need to get yourself started. You always want to make sure that you have enough stock, but not too much stock, because products have expiry dates. As an example, check out the common expiry dates below:

When you are starting out, it is good to develop a checklist to ensure you have everything you need for the coming week. As a starting point, we have created a checklist for you which lists everything in your kit:
As your kit grows, continue adding to your checklist so you can keep track of all the tools, products and equipment you need to efficiently and safely complete makeup services. While it may be tempting to get the cheapest possible products and tools, it isn’t always the best approach. Low-quality products are likely to cause contra-actions, and you don’t want to damage your reputation. That being said, just because something is expensive, it does not mean it is a miracle product. Always do your research, and remember, if something seems too good to be true, it usually is!
In this makeup kit you have everything you need to begin your career as a makeup artist. See below for images of all contents contained in your supplied training kit.
